With an advent to the
globalization, the international trade in India has been increased. Earlier,
international trade was not the power of Indian Economy. But now, the situation
in India has changed. There is a hug demand of Indian products or services in
International market. This has resulted in the increase in Export, Import and Business expansion of Indian companies
of different sectors. And as per the survey, export business is considered as
one of the booming sector in India.
Indian small and medium
scale businesses have been successful in dealing with the international market by
offering qualitative products through efficient and well trained men power. Indian
entrepreneurs have marked themselves in International market by doing exports
of various products of numerous sectors like agriculture, textile chemicals and
fertilizers, handicrafts etc.
“It has been observed
that foreign companies used to arrive at India and took over Indian companies.
But now, the situation has changed. We have new generation youthful men like
TATA, Ambani, Birla etc. who has taken over the foreign companies. We need to
wake up. This is the correct time to support Indian economy. – said Mr Dipak
Manohar, founder and director of International Institute of Import and Export
Management (iiiEM). Earlier,
we had the habit of purchasing goods made in other countries. But now the time
has came that all over world purchases the products made in India.
It is also to be noted
that government helps to boost export business. Indian government is
also working on long term planning for vivid incentive schemes to be given to
the exporters. Our honorable prime minister has started giving importance to
the international trade by announcing few projects like “Make in India”,
“Digital India” and “Skill India”. This will not only help the reputation of
India but also helps to provide employment opportunities in India. To serve the
nation, you do not need to go to the border with a gun. If you provide
employment to the 10 people in India, then only, it is considered as the
service towards the nation. This is the right time to grab the opportunity,
said Mr Manohar.
In fact, many other
institutions like FIEO, DGFT, EPC, MSME helps small scale industries to do
export business. Higher the investment, Higher the return! Small scale
industries can mark their presence in International market by offering
qualitative products, innovation and technology. They just need to grab the
lucrative opportunities to enter in the international market.
